The final field trip of the year! Bowling and an afternoon at the playhouse. Unfortunately the field trip landed on my work day. So, I had to tell Maddie that I couldn't come with her. Then, I had to call her teacher and tell her that I was taking the day off and would be there. I love surprising people!
I met them at Fat Cats for a little bowling.
I am bummed that this picture is blurry. Some cute girls.
After bowling they got to spend an hour or so at the Treehouse Museum. The first part was not the highlight as they talked about "being heros in your own story." A valiant effort at passing on an important message but...these kids simply wanted to run around and play. Not sure how much information was being absorbed.
They ended by acting out a Japanese Fable. At least they got to move around for this part.
An overall fun day and some final memories of the 3rd grade.
