Halloween 2017

Had an awesome week of Halloween festivities.

My phone is constantly pulling up random photos and showing them to me. It recently made a movie all about Aeva when she was little. I had to keep them all in one place! Love that sweet face!

She may have worn grandpa out.  She looks so innocent and yet...slightly guilty.

Grandpa Ken's Tractor Stunt

Grandpa Ken decided to ride a front loaded tractor down the hill at the golf course.  As he went over the edge of the hill, the weight of the load raised the back tires of the tractor off the ground which meant...no brakes. Grandpa rode the tractor all the way to the bottom of the hill where it fell over the ledge into a creek and threw him out on top of all of the cinderblock bricks.  Didn't turn out so well.

A quick ER visit revealed a broken rib and puncture wound to the chest.  Could have been much, much worse.  We are so blessed that he is ok. 

10 days later we removed the stitches.  Black and blue with a huge mass under the puncture wound site. 

Could have been so much worse!  So blessed and happy that he is ok!

Garrett's18th Birthday

The girls surprised Garrett with some cupcakes for his 18th birthday. You can tell how much he loves being visited by his cousins.  We know that he secretly loves us.

I'm full of good advice and often choose to share in on birthday cards.  I've been trying for some time to get Garrett's pilonidal cyst looked at.  I hoped a reminder on his birthday card would do the trick.
