Maddie's soccer team headed to Mesquite for the President's Cup. These pictures won't give you the idea that this was a soccer tournament trip. We had way too much fun doing everything else!
We started off by being shoved in the back seat with very little room for legs, books or people. We had to meet Troy before we would have more room. Good thing Layton isn't too far away!
Aeva left Troy a note on his desk at work. Sweet girl.
I have always thought that we should stop on our way to Mesquite and get a picture by the Arizona sign. Today was the day!
A few of the girls on Maddie's team made a poster for each player. This was an awesome way to start out the tournament. I love how Maddie's teammates describe her. Awesome!
Between games we headed to the Valley of Fire State Park.
Can you see Maddie and Aeva in this picture?
We found a new favorite place to eat. That is awesome because Mesquite doesn't have a lot of options!
Let the games begin!
Cottonwood Park in St. George. We hooked up with Cammie and Garrett. They were down there too for a baseball tournament!
Gma Rett made it to the shooting range with the Wilsons. I hear she is somewhat "off" on her shooting. Good thing we buy our food at the grocery store and don't depend on hunting.
Leeds hike.
It got a bit chilly as the sun went down. Aeva didn't plan ahead with extra clothes. Maybe the was my job?
This picture doesn't quite catch the amount of effort that was being exerted. Troy was trying to keep Cammie from falling in the water. I was quite entertained the entire time.
The girls decided to reenact a picture from Spring Break one year earlier. Here is the 2016...
Here is the 2015...they seem to have grown up a tiny bit.
The elephant tree.
Aeva stole Cammie's jacket from her.
The "crack" in St. George. Who will fit?
Cam got stuck.
Garrett, Maddie, Gracie and Aeva made it.
When the sun was setting, I had the kids run up the hill and do a "Karate Kid" pose.
This is what I got. Love it.
Troy went running the day after we got back from our trip. Found some left over sand in his shoe.
Love, love, love St. George!
