Halloween 2016

Halloween festivities lasted an entire week this year!

Aeva's 4th grade class.

Aeva decided she would be a dead, zombie, soccer player.  Ok...works for me.

She decided she was old enough to go through the Spook Ally.  Last year this caused tears.  This year...she thought it was great fun.

Carnival games.

Troy was invited to her Scout Halloween Party.  Troy dressed up as...we don't know.  Either way, he gets credit and several hundred brownie points just for going!

Trunk or Treat with the cousins.

Aeva took hundreds of pictures of her zombie self.

Ms. Gracie was a Ninja Turtle with all of her friends.

They won "Best Group Costume" at the Junior High.

Maddie was Mario and Kenna was Luigi.

Troy got to drive them around in all the chaos.  He found Big Foot while he was out and about.

Happy Halloween!

A Day Off

When the girls get a day off school...we must play!

I happened to have their iFly cards all saved up for a rainy day.

I also happened to have our Fat Cats gift card...thanks, Grandma Carole!

Gracie and Maddie decided to race motorcycles.  Neither of them have ever done it.  Gracie was asking Maddie how to play and Maddie told her to "just ride".  Gracie is not impressed with her answer.

The game began and Maddie had a good time leaving Gracie in the dust.

By the end, Gracie had caught on and Maddie had herself a race.  Aeva wasn't overly impressed with either of their skills.  She just sat there and laughed as they ran into walls and fell off bridges.

When the game was over she decided to hop on for a ride.

Love spending time with these cute girls.  When are we out of school again?

Frightmares 2016

We actually made it to Frightmares!  If you wait for the buy 1, get 1 coupon...it makes it almost affordable.  Aeva had a party that night so Troy and I took Maddie and Gracie out for an evening of Lagoon in the rain.  What could be better?

Troy and I rode the bumper cars for at least 30 minutes hoping that the rain would stop.  The girls had joined up with some friends and were waiting in line for Cannibal.  We hoped they were staying dry.

Troy and a kid in the line were trying to decide if they were tall enough to ride.

The kid told Troy that he would stand next to him so we could see if they could both ride.  Troy thought that was a good idea.  Apparently if you are taller than Troys chest, you are good to go.

The cute couple.

The cute couple plus some random boy that decided to jump in the picture.

This is what everyone looks like after 3 hours in the rain.  Troy took our picture and then told Gracie that, "she looked like an egg head".  She was not impressed but I thought it was hilarious.  He should have told me that my hair was stuck to my head.  Oh well, what's a person to do?

Our final pic on the way out the door.

Time to take my heads home in a jar.  Goodbye, Lagoon.  Until next year!

Skeleton Mask

Maddie had to make a mask for her Spanish class.  Dia de los Muertos?
She's an artist!

Nice work, Maddie Moo.

Rose Bowl 2016

Troy has always wanted to go the Rose Bowl when the Utes are playing.  The problem...Tiff had very little desire to go the Rose Bowl.  That is why men need men.  My brother was more than happy to accompany Troy to the game.

Troy flew to CA and stayed with Brandon in his new bachelor pad.

They started their day with a ginormous breakfast.

Then it was time to suit up.  We got each of them a cool shirt to wear to the game.  I had my fingers crossed that they wouldn't get beat up by the UCLA fans.

The campus.

The coveted stadium.

Troy ran into our bishop at the game.

Going by this picture, they seemed to have a good time.

A post game meal.  Brandon is looking a bit stuffed at this point.

Glad they could go and gorge themselves...I mean, go to the Rose Bowl Game.
Go Utes!!!
