New Years Eve 2014

We had an open day on our calendar for New Year's Eve. This is a rarity. So, we decided to play! Giselle received a special New Year's Eve treat (a sour cream and cheddar chip) for being such a fantastic hamster.

The kids bundled up and enjoyed the snow.

I sewed and Aeva honed her skills as well.

Friends came to play.

What a fantastic way to end another year.

Thank you 2014 for keeping us safe, happy and blessed.

Random Pics 2014

Am I the only one that ends every year with a random collection of pics that I rediscovered and can't not post about? Here's to random memories.

A girl after her daddy's heart.

A Super kid basking in the sun.

The final pages of a HUGE Harry Potter book.

Getting big...a love/hate relationship for any mom.

Big laughs with good friends.

A note from one of our 3 "favorites".

To Grandma Mary who is always with us.

To a family that continues to grow.

A donut roll.

Tiny hand prints in our rug.

Date nights with dad.

Cousins.

The author of our favorite Christmas play.

Winter sunrises.

Maddie - the artist.

Grandma Rett...our best buddy.

A pirate.

Tiny Maddie and me.  At what point did I decide that our hair should look like this?

Ever need a ride across the ATC campus?  Steal a ride with the campus security.  They love it.

Christmas Break 2014

This is how we spent our Christmas Break...the snow finally came. Aeva has adopted the habit of running around in flip flops all year round. At least her coat is on, right?

We went skiing with the fam.  Someone forgot to pack Gracies skiis...oops.  We got out on the slopes eventually.  Good thing she is nice and forgiving.

My brother, Brandon, needs to part with what is left of his hair.

I had to take this as evidence of my opinion.

Lunch/hot chocolate time.

The ride back home.

Time to warm up and relax.

How we love Christmas Break.  Wish it would come more often!

Christmas Traditions 2014

Christmas Festivities have begun!

We got Nate out for his Christmas feast.

Had lots and lots of appointments to keep with Santa.

Troy was forced off of his computer for the Holidays.

Cheese Borags were made.

Songs were sung.

Bowling.

Death defying tricks.

And finally, Christmas morning itself.

Santa even wore our light up hats skiing for the day.  In fact, he made the front page of the Powder Mountain website with his amazing hat.

We go to see our missionary.

Cheers to life!

Flying fairies.

A fantastic holiday with those we love.

Like it says...Merry Christmas!
