Once a year we let ourselves go to El Matador for dinner. Sometimes we run into, Mitra, who is my moms friend from a hundred years ago. Mitra ended up being our waitress and I told her that I was Rett's daughter. She remembered my mom but never was able to remember me. She asked me my name at least 5 times over the course of our dinner and brought everyone she knew over to meet the girl whose name she couldn't recall.
The one person she did remember was, Brandon. She kept asking to see his picture because... "he is so handsome!" Good thing he wasn't with us or he would have left with a big head and 5 different girlfriends. This is the picture she kept looking at.
Mitra did give Aeva a Twix bar as we were leaving so Aeva thinks this is the best place ever. Plus, as a double bonus, they have a lion fountain that Aeva gets to throw pennies in. What could be better?
We may have to go back more than just once a year. After all, we really like Twix!
