Kindergarten Round-up

Our little Maddie is headed to Kindergarten! They had Kindergarten Round Up today. Maddie is SO excited about going to school. I think we have a little scholar on our hands!

Any way to keep them small for a little longer?

Footings and Slides

The hole is dug. Time for footings!
And while we are at it...why not a slide? Gotta have something for the kids to play on for the next 6 months, right? They love it!

A New Endeavor!

Troy and I bought a lot up in Eden last Fall. We have decided it is time to put a little something on it. Let the building begin! Excavation was started on March 24, 2007. We are truly blessed to have such great families. This would be a complete IMPOSSIBILITY without them. I think we are in for some long (and hopefully fun) days ahead. I told Troy, we are only doing this once...so, we had better do it how we want it! No "do-overs" on this one.

I stole this picture of Troy during the 10 minutes that Justin hopped off the machine. Apparently this is a pretty hard thing to run without some practice. I didn't even try!

Snacks and drinks for the hard workers, kids, and animals.

Kenlee came to help her dad while he worked.

Grandma Rett and Gracie were in charge of supervising.

Maddie was in charge of climbing the dirt hill. Like I said, fun has got to be a part of this, right?

Good thing we have nothing against dirt!

Trent and Cody's Wedding

My cousin, Cody was married today. Maddie and Gracie were asked to be flower girls. They loved every minute of it. It was a beautiful day. We wish them the happiest of times ahead.

Troy is 31!

Every year Troy and Parker get to "share" their birthday party. This year Troy turned 31 and Parker turned 11. We gathered for a little cake, ice cream, and presents.

Like the bonfire? Happy birthday old man...and young man too!

Maddie's First Time Skiing

We took Maddie for skiing for the first time. We decided Wolf Mountain would be a good place to start. Can't beat and escalator on the slope, right?

Aunt Kati came for applause and support.

We have one awesome little skier on our hands!
