Troy "Working" in Connecticut

Troy went on a "work trip" to Connecticut.
All I know is that I kept receiving all sorts of "not working" pictures such as these...

Either way, he was gone for 3 days which warranted a welcome home sign from Gracie.  She was nice enough to include everyone but she did all the hard work.

Welcome Home, DAD!

Pickleball

These pictures may not show our true Pickleball talent but...we are awesome.  In fact, some may call us professionals.  Anyone know of any Pickleball scholarships?

Chocolate Factory

Gracie had a soccer game in Salt Lake. A friend told us that there is a Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolate Factory where we were going.  So, after the game we set out to find us some chocolate.

I only got a picture of this one little mint because we were way to focused on eating the chocolate.
Tiny, scrumptious little morsels of happiness!

Twinner Winner

Aeva and Ella went to an outdoor movie. I told them they had to dress warm and next thing they were all dressed in twin sweat outfits from Aeva's drawer.  Ella is smaller than Aeva so she had to have the fancy belt to hold her sweats up.

Cutest twins I ever did see!

Dog Trainers

Aeva's friend, Ella, has more dogs than I can count. Their latest and favoritest thing to do these day is "train the dogs". She comes home and tells me all about how good they are at training them.  When I went to pick her up, I got a small demonstration.  Aeva is telling the dogs to sit.
They think she is crazy.

They don't appear to get too devastated when the dogs refuse to listen.

I'm so glad Ella has lots of dogs so I don't have to!

The "Much Dreaded" First Day of School

Not the best quality photos but I did my motherly duty!  Besides, getting the right light at WAY early in the morning when all eyes are still blurry is a difficult task. Just ask me...I'll tell you!

Solar Eclipse 2017

The Solar Eclipse took over the world for a few days.  Kind of fun to see everyone stop for a minute and simply enjoy something that you don't get to see everyday.  Something that isn't man made or easy to come by.  Something special...

Our neighbor put up a telescope and invited the neighborhood over to watch the eclipse up close.

I have no idea how these shadow pictures work but they are cool!

My friend sent me a pic showing me that her brooms could balance because of the change in gravity caused by the eclipse.  I had to give it a try.  Sure enough, I was magic!  It stayed this way for 5-6 hours before it fell down.  Cool beans.

My friend, Tyler (Pura Vida Photography), took these amazing pics of the different phases of the eclipse.  Love it!

Bryan's "Hot Lava" Obstacle Course

Leave it up to Bryan to create a random obstacle course that everyone loves.
First, Leap Frog across the lawn.

Crab Walk back

At this point, the grass is now "hot lava" and you can't touch it.  Guess we will have to balance on the volleyball poles...ok, why not?

Then the side climb back up the stairs.  Hilarious to watch.

2017 Hot Air Balloon Festival

There's nothing quite like it...
