Preparations for the 3rd Grade Drive-In

Aeva can't wait for the 3rd Grade Drive-in that will come next Spring. She came running home from church today with grand plans to update her car. You know, new tape, new headlights...maybe an oil change. When she was done, it was spectacular.

Now back to the waiting....and waiting for the big day to come.

6th Grade Pool Party

Gracie's friends dad had a wonderful idea..."Let's have a pool party for the entire 6th grade!". Her mother reluctantly agreed and sent out the invites. Two days before the party that he created, the dad announced that he would be out of town for the day of the party. Mom has a nervous breakdown and calls for back up. That means...Tiff gets to go to pool party too! As the Lifeguard.

My old licensure is paying off!

As the official lifeguard, I was able to take pics. Chicken fights!!!

As you can tell from the look on her face, Gracie takes her fights very seriously.

Especially when held at water gunpoint.

The next day she complained of "neck pain". Hmmm..wonder why?

Neighborhood Deer

This little guy has been hanging out in my front yard...eating MY bushes!

Right outside our front door. He likes to sleep by our window.

Not bad...a 4 point! Good thing I am not a hunter.

Also a good thing that I have enough plants for him to eat. Grrr.

Oregon

Troy's work sent him to Oregon. These are the pics he sent home.

This bridge and waterfall looked familiar.

Because we went there with the girls in 2008!

The last half of his trip seemed to be consumed with yummy food...or at least food.

Apparently food trucks run amuck in Oregon.

Weiner anyone?

If none of that will do... how about a "dough"nut?

Crazy menu...Vegan Doughnut??? No thanks.

This place was crazy busy. We even got to sample some as this lovely box made its way home.

We opened it up to this...I still think there are certain things that should not go on doughunts.

Liquid Canvas

Girls day out at Liquid Canvas. No two flowers are alike! I think it is hilarious how each flower shows the personality of the person who painted it.

Darby - Free Spirit.

We couldn't resist waking Lisa up early, dressing her as a fairy and taking her out for her birthday breakfast.

This amazing woman will be moving back to New Zealand with her family next week.

We will miss them SO much! Prayers that they come back SOON!

If they refuse...we will go to them!

New Toys

We were lucky enough to have two wave runners literally fall into our laps a few weeks ago. Our sweet friends are moving away and asked us if we wanted their wave runners...um, YES! Can't refuse a good deal when I live a mile from the lake!

My girls were fairly happy with the deal.
