I didn't go to Youth Conference this year so Maddie was assigned to document the occasion for our posterity. They started out the festivities with the Amazing Race! They divided into teams, went in 100 different directions and had 6 stops to make. They met back at their final destination...the Walmart in Ogden. The first team to buy their list of items for under $10 and check out won. Maddie was on the yellow team and took 2nd place. Not bad for a first time Amazing Race contestant.
After that they headed to This is the Place State Park in SLC. What would Youth Conference be without a good old tug-of-war?

Gracie was appalled that they would leave the chocolate cake out for the entire meal. How could they expect her to focus on her salad when there was chocolate cake just inches away?
