Our friends had a little visitor a few weeks ago. This is Sammy. He is the class bird of one of the classes over at the elementary school. The kids in that class get to take turns taking Sammy home on the weekends. The Hauns found out that there was a new pet in town and invited ourselves over for a little visit.
Sammy will talk, fly and of course...never gets left alone. My girls had 5 turns each with the poor little thing before they would agree to be shooed out the door.
They even got to feed him some seeds for his lunch.
Any ideas what my girls wanted for Christmas? Good thing Santa knows better than to bring us another animal. I think we will stick with visiting the other local animals for now.
