We had Stake Conference at the Dee Events center this year. A lot of people don't like having to drive downtown to see it. Having served a mission in Ecuador, where the members would give their lives to see the prophet or walk/drive past a temple every day...it kind of puts things into perspective. Needless to say, we made the drive down.
I am proud that my daughters got the experience. Seeing the prophet in person is something special, I want them to recognize that. We are so blessed to live where we live and have the opportunities that we have. Things that should never be taken for granted.
