Aeva was assigned to write a report on her favorite bird. It took a few hours to decide which bird might be her favorite but when she found out that someone who lived close by had peacocks...the decision was made. We gave them a call and within a few minutes we were standing in their yard looking at two very impressive birds.
To top it off, they let her take a jar full of feathers home to use for her report. She took them to school and it was quite the highlight of her day. The feathers have now turned into a decoration in our home. Not to mention an important feature of her dress up costumes.
