Garrett made the Weber High baseball team for the second year in a row! We had to celebrate! I figured a cute little cake would do. The problem, cake decorators are not easy to find at 9 PM at the local Smiths. Never fear, whomever works at 9 PM at night will surely have cake decorating skills, right?. Next problem, there are no baseball cakes to be found on Easter weekend. However, there are lots of Easter cakes with lots of green grass and jellybeans on top.
"Excuse me, Mr. Butcher man behind the counter. Could you help me with a cake? Yes, you. I need you to take ALL of the jellybeans off that cake, replace them with a baseball and then write Congrats, Gary Poo on the top. Is that a problem?"
Of course he could do it! See...
Gary Poo loved his little cake (or at least he pretended to for my sake).
We even sang him a happy baseball song. He loves his family.
