Our new dentist has you wear cool glasses while he works on your teeth. 

 Aeva seemed to be ok with the idea (even if they are slightly crooked).

Moab Half Marathon 2016

We tricked Troy into running the Moab Half again this year. Love a good trip to Moab and not sure why Troy running has to be the excuse. Guess it's just tradition. 

Aeva got a blood nose on the way through Spanish Fork.  This was her solution to the problem.  Not a bad idea but perhaps a bit excessive on the quantity of toilet paper.

We stayed at a condo outside of Moab.  Aeva decided that her reading spot would be under the coffe table.

Had to risk my life for this little ChapStick.  It fell of the edge of the arch and I had to go after it.  Troy was not pleased with my decision.  What can I say?  I hate dry lips.

Serve to Save Dinner

Gracie's 6th grade class completed their Serve to Save Dinner. They raised over $9000 for local charities and projects that they chose to support. Gracie made an awesome waitress and even ended up with a few tips in her pocket. Proud of her and her hard work.

Troy's 40th Birthday!

Troy has finally reached the ripe OLD age of 40. Still a year younger than me but at least his age starts with the same number as mine...finally.  He got a batch of his favorite Texas Sheet Brownies (thanks to Cammie).  We didn't have 40 candles but we will pretend...don't want to stress his old lungs.

We also took him to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.  The girls gave him our gift while we waited for the food.  It was a jar filled with 40 papers.  We each wrote down 10 reasons why we love our dad.

This was one of the favorites...he and Maddie are in a constant battle to see who will be taller.  So far, Troy has her by about 1 inch.

He got to ride on the saddle...my personal favorite.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Troy.  We are blessed, honored, happy and ecstatic that you are "our" dad.  

You keep us laughing and smiling day after day.

Canada Donation

We have decided to take a family trip this July. We will be heading to the Olympic Peninsula!  The girls are sooo excited for whale watching, crabbing, kayaking, etc.  The night after I told them about our plans, I found this on my pillow.

Aeva was donating the money from her piggy bank for the trip.  She had a total of $70.62.  Cute girl.  Love her willingness to help.  Maybe we can use it for a souvenir instead of the trip itself.  Love her.
