My dads birthday was one day before Mother's day. The kids decided to take advantage of this and take my dad and mom out for a "surprise event." We didn't tell either of them what we were doing. We picked them up and just started driving. The next thing they knew, they were at iFly.
If you don't know what iFly is, it is a large tube of air that blows enormous quantities of air up your nostrils, makes you drool all over yourself, and also allows you to fly (at least that was my experience). Well worth the money!

The iFly instructor was pretty excited. My dad was the biggest guy he had had fly. I think he was a little too excited and let go of his specimen. Once we knew he was ok, we had a good laugh. I'm glad we got it on video. Priceless.
Aeva has been made subject to a lot of soccer watching over the past few months. I realize that this may not always be fun to a 4 year old. For this reason, I have allowed her to make several decisions that I would otherwise probably not agree with. Here is one of them.
She went to one of the games dressed in her winter robe, a large white purse, her summer cap (that she happened to design herself) and some winter slippers that she seems to wear on random occasions. Funny girl.
