Tiff's 41st Birthday

I'm always blessed to be surrounded by my awesome family on my birthday.  My nephew helped to arrange the candles on my cake.  I think it's awesome.  Helps my old lungs not have to work so hard when 90% of them are all clumped together.

I also share my birthday with my brother-in-law, Allen.  He was born one day after me but 10 years earlier.  We decided to ceremoniously blow out our birthday candles together.  Nauseatingly sweat, no?

Happy birthday to me!  I hope they stop coming so quickly!

Aeva and Simba

Aeva got a huge lion for Christmas. I thought he would find his way up into the loft with the other stuffed animals. Every time I take him upstairs, he finds his way back down.

In fact, I once found him on the computer with Aeva.

A few days later, I woke up to her sleeping on him in the living room.

If it keeps her from waking me up in the middle of the night...I"m all for it.  Thank you, Simba, for helping everyone sleep soundly.

His Happy Place...

I have no idea how my brother, Brandon, pulled this off.  Nevertheless, he does appear to be standing in a row with several of the Broncos cheerleaders.  Not sure if I have ever seen him happier.
He must have done something right in his previous life.  Nice work, bro.

Aeva's Baptism

Aeva's baptism day is here!  She was so excited as were we!  Love this cute girl and her amazing spirit.  So blessed to have her in our home.  We are proud of her decision to be baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

Hi, my name is Aeva.

Aeva is going to be a teacher. I like how she decided to change the format of the form completely rather than fill it out "as written".

She thinks this will be a great job for her because "I have a little sized school (our playhouse in the back yard) and when my cousins come, I play teacher."

No ideas so far on how to reach her goal of becoming a teacher but an awesome picture
of what she will look like when she gets there.
I love little kids.
