My final Kindergartener

I have mixed feeling about this post. My litte Aeva got her Kindergarten packet in the mail last week.

This cute girl (my baby) has been my side kick for the last 4 1/2 years.  What am I supposed to do when she goes to school with her older sisters?  Keep in mind she is ecstatic about it.  It is also apparent, by Gracie in the background of the picture, that they are excited to have her come along with them.  They don't seem concerned at all that I will be home all by my little lonesome.  In the end, I guess I am glad that she is so excited to go.  If she wasn't, I would keep her home with me!

Large, medium and small

A new 7-11 opened up in Riverdale. They are advertising any size slurpee for $1. That is a HUGE thing for us Hauns. We love a good slurpee. They even have Crystal Light flavors that are sugar free so they have no guilt associated with them. Every time we happen to drive by we stop for this special deal. As my girls were walking out I noticed that they had each chosen a different size slurpee that correlated with their sizes. Check it out.

We have a large, medium and small.  How great is that?  I have some smart kids.  I have taught them to recognize the finer things in life.  Slurpees are pretty high up on that list.

Stylin

This is Aeva walking into Costco.

I think she may be taking after her big sister, Maddie.  She loves to have hats, purses and all things sparkly.  Not sure where they got it from...Troy and I don't run around in sparkles too much.  Maybe one day their style will rub off on us.

The hot tub is back.

Troy braved the cold and got the hot tub drained, cleaned and refilled.

The girls were happy to give it a try.

The 3 Little Pigs - Take 2

You may remember these pictures from last year.   Aeva was infatuated with The Three Little Pig story.  We had to say it every night as her bedtime story.  Aeva even made the props at school to act it out herself.

Well, Aeva saw these pictures recently and watched the video of her doing the story of the Three Little Pigs.  She immediately wanted to do it again.  We searched high and low for her pig nose and wolf ears but they were nowhere to be found.  Do you know what that meant?

We had to make them again.  Her is our little wolfy pig one year older.  Cute as ever.
